You are not entilted to DLA if your right to reside in Great Britain is subject to any limitation
or condition. There are a number of exceptions to this rule-
You will be able to claim if:
- You have refugee status;
- You have exceptional leave to remain or enter;
- You (or a member of your family who you live with) are legally working in
Great Britain and are a Tunisian, Turkish Morroccan or Algerian national;
- You are a family member a national of any EEC country or of Norway, Liechenstein or Iceland.
- Your claim for asylum (if any) is recorded by the Secretary of State as having been decided or abandoned.
- you are a sponsored immigrant.
- You are a national of a country covered by a reciprocal agreement. Currently these countries are - Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland,
France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, Isle of Man, Israel,
Jamaica, Jersey and Guernsey, Mauritius, New Zealand, Phillipines, Switzerland, Turkey, USA and the former Yugoslavia
